Let’s talk about authenticity.
Last year, I visited the Bridal Veil waterfall in Oregon. As you can see from the photo below, it is gorgeous! I was blown away... I even had my phone turned off until I took it out to take this picture. We also visited other waterfalls, including very popular ones, before and after visiting the Bridal Veil falls.
When asked which waterfall did everyone like the most, the group said Bridal Veils. When asked why? The answer was because it was kept the most natural... without other distractions. I agree. What does this have to do with marketing? When we look at marketing, how many times do we say “that’s so fake”? Or we turn away because of the self-serving advertisements and the 4 layers of makeup? Your marketing needs a powerful message. I can tell you that every time I have shared an authentic post, story, video... I get the most engagement.
Why?
Because in a world that is constantly obsessed with perfection, sharing an authentic message shows the true you. I urge you to break through the marketing noise by sharing something authentic about your brand.
